Conversion funnels

See where visitors drop off on the way to a lead

Traffic tells you how many came, events how many times a button was clicked. A funnel answers the question it was all for: how many people made it all the way, and at which step the rest left. Ad → pricing page → lead. Or catalog → cart → order. No new code — the funnel is built from what your site already sends.

See which ads actually bring in leads

The same script that connects your website to the CRM tracks traffic and detects the channel on its own: paid ads, search, social, email. Funnels show the path from the ad click to the lead, and heatmaps show what people do on the page itself.

  • Traffic and ad channels: visits by day and by source, and a UTM-tagged link with its own stats and a QR code for every platform
  • Funnels from any steps — visit, page, event, lead — with conversion and the time between steps
  • Heatmaps on top of your own site: what gets clicked, where people expect a link that isn't there, and how far each page is read

What a website funnel shows

A funnel is a sequence of steps a visitor should take, with the number of people who reached each one. The biggest drop between two steps is where to start improving the site.

In Sitecog a funnel only stores its steps and recalculates the numbers from page views and events every time. So a funnel created today immediately shows last month, and fixing a step recalculates the whole history.

What you get

  • Steps from anything

A visit (narrowed by channel, source, campaign or ad link), a page (with * masks), your own event with a parameter condition, or a form lead. From 2 to 8 steps.

  • Where people leave

How many reached each step, the share from the start and from the previous step, and the biggest drop highlighted.

  • How long they think

Median time between steps and a conversion window from 5 minutes to 90 days, so a visit last spring does not count toward today's lead.

  • Which channel converts

Break the funnel down by channel, source, campaign, ad link, country or device the visitor came with.

  • People or visits

Count people who may come back tomorrow, or single visits — whichever matches the question you are asking.

  • Instant history

Templates for common paths and a live preview while you build. A new funnel shows past data right away.

Your first funnel in three steps

  1. Add the script

The same one script tag counts page views on its own. Add events for button clicks and mark up forms for leads.

  2. Build the funnel

Open Marketing → Funnels, pick a template or add steps, and set the conversion window.

  3. Read the report

See the drop between steps, the time it takes and the channels that bring people to the end.

Live editing

Change your website exactly where customers see it

Visual editing the way it should work: open your website in the CRM, click a heading, price or image and change it right on the page. No clunky admin forms: a developer connects the site once, and after that every edit is yours.

  • Text, images, video, lists and product cards
  • Pick an image from your storage — or just drag a new one onto the page
  • Works with any stack: React, Next.js, Vue, PHP or static HTML

Questions about funnels

Do I need extra code?

Page views are counted by the widget itself. For steps like “clicked Buy” you send an event, and forms with the data-crm-lead attribute become leads — both are a few lines.

Will a new funnel show past data?

Yes. The report is calculated from stored page views and events, so a new funnel or an edited step immediately covers the whole history.

Which plan includes funnels?

Funnels are part of the Pro plan ($79 per 30 days), together with heatmaps, traffic, ad links and leads. You can try them in the demo without signing up.

How many funnels can I create?

Up to 50 funnels per site, each with 2 to 8 steps.

Are bots counted?

No, bots are excluded from funnels just as from traffic reports.
